Field Trips: Grade 6
Black Chasm: Friday, Sept. 30, 2011; Depart: 8:15 a.m.; Return: 3:00 p.m.
Location: Volcano, CA (near Jackson)
Lots of parent chaperones/drivers are needed. If you want to drive, please complete the Driver Certification Form (attached below), attach a copy of the current Declaration Page of your insurance policy, and turn in to Ms. Bibayoff or Ms. Lewis.
Marin Headlands:
Our trip to Marin Headlands is one of the unforgettable highlights of our sixth grade year. This three-night, four-day camping trip is in Golden Gate National Recreational Area-Marin Headlands . We join their talented staff to hike through some of California's most beautiful natural geography and learn a lot about science in a fun, hands-on way in the field. Now is the time to start budgeting and planning ahead.
- Dates: January 17th-20th, 2012
- Cost: Full cost is $320
Or, you can split up the cost into two payments $160 each due on September 1st and November 1st.

Chinatown: On February 6th, 2012 we will be heading out to discover more about Chinese culture first-hand as we tour around San Francisco's Chinatown. Students are welcome to bring spending money at their parents' discretion and may bring a sack lunch. We'll check in and load up to leave at 8:10am and return around 3:00pm (depending on traffic).

Yosemite Trip (See Informational Slideshow below for trip details. NCS permission slip is located below)
- Start Date: Sun, Nov. 6, 2011 Meet in MPR at 8:00 AM BRING SACK LUNCH OR $ FOR LUNCH.
- End Date: Weds, Nov. 9, 2011 Students should be returning to NCS at approximately 7:30 pm
- Student Cost: $398
- Final Payment of $198 Due Friday, September 30th. Please make checks payable to NCS. See or email Ms. Darwazeh with questions.

San Jose Field Trip: April 14-15, 2011
Trip cost $125.00 - Payment is due in full to Ms. Music by Thursday, March 17, 2011. Trip details are attached below. Students must be at the Amtrak Train Station in downtown Sacramento on April 14 by 9:30am and must be picked up at the train station Friday at 3:25pm.
