Parent Hour Reports
PARENT HOURS ARE UPDATED DAILY DURING THE MONTH OF MAY. PLEASE CONTACT MRS. LEWIS IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR PARENT HOURS.
Please see and download the PDF file at the bottom of this page.
To respect each families privacy, hours are sorted by the student's school number. The student numbers are sorted chronologically. If you have more than one child in the Leading Edge Program, your report has been filed using the ID of your child with the first initial closest to the beginning of the alphabet. Example: Susie and John Smith would be filed under John's student number.
If there is a discrepancy between the hours reported and the hours recorded, please explain the discrepancy in a brief note and turn it into the office.
Parent Participation Guidelines for Site Based Programs
- Each family must contribute a minimum of 30 hours per school year.
- A parent hours tally sheet reflecting your year-to-date total will be posted each month on the Leading Edge website.
- Hours must be entered on a tally sheet only and submitted by the 20th of each month. Keep a copy for your records. Hours will not be accepted after two months from the date of service.
- Parents should make every effort to work throughout the year. Families must complete 2/3 of their commitment (20 hours) by February 19, 2010 (LE). Families failing to achieve their minimum hoursby this date shall receive a letter informing them of their deficiency and placing such families on probation, and in jeoprody of having their contract revoked.
- All 30 hours must be turned in by May 21, 2010. If you have arranged to help with end of the year activities (those taking place after 5/21), please make a note on your last tally sheet. Include the name of the activity, the date, how many hours you will be working, and a staff signature.
- Up to 20 of your 30 hours may be contributed through donations. Donations are calculated at a rate of $15.00 per hour for the first 10 hours and $30 dollars per hour for the second ten . You may either pay directly for your hours, donate items needed for class supplies, or a combination of the two. Attach your receipt to your monthly tally sheet and you will be credited 1 hour per $15/$30 spent. Cash donations will be deposited into the school’s Theater fund. You may not specify how it should be spent.
- Hours may not be transferred or given to another family.
- If you are unable to work during your designated time, PLEASE call the Charter Office and leave a message for the person expecting you.
- New students will have their hour obligation pro-rated (10 hours per trimester or 7.5 hours per quarter).
