Dear Leading Edge Families,
Welcome to the 2025–26 school year at Leading Edge Academy!
We are less than two weeks away from the first day of school, and our staff is excited to welcome students back for another year of learning, growth, and connection. I hope this letter finds you well and that you’ve had a restful and enjoyable summer.
This year, we are embracing the theme: Engage, Create, Achieve. This reflects the dynamic and innovative learning environment we foster at Leading Edge. We believe that when students are deeply engaged in their academic pursuits, they are empowered to create meaningful work, authentic connections, and innovative ideas. Through this process, they achieve not only academic success but also personal growth and confidence.
Engage
For families, engagement means staying connected — reading weekly newsletters, checking Schoology regularly, and participating in school events such as Back to School Night and school events. When families are engaged, students feel supported both at school and at home. We also encourage you to talk regularly with your student about what they are learning and experiencing at school.
Create
Our students are encouraged to express themselves through their ideas, writing, projects, and collaborations. As parents and guardians, you can help nurture this creativity by celebrating your child’s unique voice and encouraging them to explore their passions — whether that’s solving a challenging math problem in a new way, creating a science project, or collaborating on a team activity.
Achieve
Achievement looks different for every student. For some, it’s mastering a new academic skill or building confidence as a leader. For others, it might be reaching a reading goal, overcoming a challenge in math, or learning how to advocate for themselves. We invite families to join us in celebrating all forms of growth — academic, personal, and social — and to help students set meaningful goals throughout the year.
Whether your student is new to Leading Edge or returning for another exciting year, I am thrilled to partner with you in supporting their development as curious learners, collaborative teammates, and compassionate citizens. Our staff is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space where all students can thrive.
Let’s make this a year filled with purpose, passion, and possibility. Together, we will engage boldly, create fearlessly, and achieve with pride.
