At Home Learning

At home learning is an essential component of student growth and success.  Concepts and skills introduced during the school day, are solidified with at home practice.  Research suggests that an average of 10 minutes per grade level per day (i.e. 40 minutes in 4th grade, 70 minutes in 7th grade) of meaningful practice is an ideal amount to support current learning and set-up strong future habits.

Families can support students by providing the time, space, and expectation that at home learning is occurring regularly.  Check out the tips in our 20/20/20+ Guide to At Home Learning.
